Contenuti
Intro
Fans of the franchise feared that the last film would no longer be made for several reasons, including the pandemic and the Disney-Fox deal. But it was recently confirmed that Disney’s purchase of Fox will not prevent Deadpool 3.
Neither will it change the R (R-rated) rating of the film. Deadpool will remain Deadpool and entertain fans in his own way, even in Disney’s child-friendly Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Only a little information about the film is currently available, but we will update this page whenever new details are revealed, so be sure to check back from time to time.
Deadpool enters Marvel Studios narrative
Disney’s purchase of Fox has brought all of Marvel’s characters under one roof, which means that Deadpool will be able to carry out his wacky activities within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For their part, Reese and Wernick are more than happy to be there, as they confirmed to columnists this week.
Deadpool’s unique ability to break the fourth wall gives Marvel Studios a rather easy decision by simply transferring him from the Fox universe to the MCU. Although the details of this transition are still being worked out, Reynolds will apparently be able to carry the exact same version of Wade Wilson from the first two Deadpool films into the third.
The “fish out of water” narrative should make the film incredibly entertaining as Wade tries to understand his new environment and the new characters he can interact with. Finally, a chance to meet some of the heroes and villains he referred to in his breaking of the fourth wall.
Regardless of plot details, Deadpool’s third solo film has a golden opportunity to make its mark in the comic book world now that it will be included in the MCU.
Deadpool 3: the possible release date
Disney has released a series of release dates for upcoming Marvel films, with some dates certain. So although there is no firm date for Deadpool 3, we have a strong hunch, as production is expected to start in 2022.
This means that the release date of Deadpool 3 is probably in 2023.
So the open date of July 28, 2023 on the Disney/Marvel calendar makes sense.
This places it after the release of Ant-man and The Wasp: Quantumania, scheduled for release on Feb. 17, 2023, and after that of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 scheduled for release on May 5, 2023. Of course, when production begins, we’re sure Marvel will provide fans with an updated timeline, so stay tuned!
Until then, we will have to make do with ironic updates from Deadpool’s official Twitter account.
Deadpool 3: Trailer
Since there is no release date or confirmed time for filming to begin, the first trailer for Deadpool 3 is not coming soon. There is no doubt that it will be a real treat when it arrives. Deadpool movies have always had great trailers and marketing campaigns because of Ryan Reynolds’ humor. If he used Deadpool and Korg to promote Free Guy, there is no telling what kind of surprises might come through the Deadpool 3 trailer or what Reynolds’ Avengers friends might help him with.
Deadpool 3 plot: What will Deadpool 3 be about?
Reynolds hinted that the threequel is “trying to go in a completely different direction,” adding jokingly, “Often reboots or character changes happen four movies late.”
Although the original director of Deadpool said that the threequel does not need an R (X-rated) rating to be great. But the film will still be rated R, so don’t worry about that. It is unclear how the film’s connection to the MCU will play a role in the continuity of the series from the first two films or whether it will actually be a soft reboot. Does this mean that time travel will play a bigger role in Deadpool 3?
When we last saw Negasonic Teenage Warhead, she was repairing Cable’s time machine so that Deadpool could fix past mistakes, including a regrettable but hilarious career choice made by Ryan Reynolds. Deadpool 3 could also prove fruitful if Marvel wanted to introduce other former Fox characters. So the future of Deadpool could be full of crossovers.
There are currently no confirmed details about the story of Deadpool 3 since Disney has managed to keep all story information secret.
The cast of Deadpool 3: Who are the actors in Deadpool 3?
If there is one certainty, it is that Ryan Reynolds will reprise the role of Wade Wilson for Deadpool 3. No one else has confirmed their participation yet, but let’s talk about some possible appearances.
Teammates Colossus (Stefan Kapičić), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Yukio (Shioli Kutsuna) and Russell (Julian Dennison) will likely complete the X-Force team if we see them again, perhaps with Peter (Rob Delaney) in tow.
Fans should not have high hopes for the return of characters like Shatterstar (Lewis Tan) and Zeitgeist (Bill Skarsgård) for Deadpool 3, but in the comics superheroes always cheat death, so never say never.
We can say for sure that Blind Al will return thanks to a tweet between Reynolds and Leslie Uggams, who plays the roommate.
One character who has already cheated death in the franchise is Vanessa, Deadpool’s girlfriend, and it is safe to assume that she will return. Although Morena Baccarin has not yet confirmed anything.
Previously, the actress defended Vanessa’s lack of screen time in the sequel. “I was disappointed that I didn’t do more, because I loved the part so much. But watching the film and reading the script, I felt it was an emotionally pivotal role in the film, and the whole arc of her character in the film is set in motion by what happens to my character.”
TJ Miller played Weasel in the first two films, but stated that he would prefer that they not make a third film. If this means he will not return, we will not be too bothered by it.
Will we finally see an on-screen reunion between Ryan Reynolds and his nemesis Hugh Jackman? We simply do not know.
Deadpool 3: Who are the creative people behind the scenes?
Ryan Reynolds has teamed up with Kevin Feige to produce Deadpool 3.
As for directing, Reynolds will reunite with Shawn Levy, director of The Adam Project. After Levy had been hired to direct Deadpool 3.
The development of Deadpool 3 led to the return of the franchise’s original screenwriters, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. When it was first revealed that Disney was moving forward with plans for another Deadpool movie, it was reported that Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin of Bob’s Burgers were working on the script.
It seemed that Marvel Studios was planning to change the creative team. However, it was later revealed that Wernick and Reese were hired to take over the writing in early 2022. The two later assured that Deadpool will not be “Disneyized” and will retain the same humor and tone as before.
