Intro

As a reminder, from FIFA 17 onward, you can cast your vote to choose which players to include in the various teams for the season. Usually a few weeks beforehand the list of candidates is provided, from which the 11 best players can be selected by creating a lineup. This year’s Premier League TOTS nominees were unveiled on April 17, and as usual it was possible to vote for them on the EA Sports website until April 20.

The final results are determined by an algorithm that combines user votes with those cast by EA Sports based on some undisclosed criteria. The top 11 soccer players selected for each team are revealed a few weeks after voting.

It’s time to take a look at one of the strongest TOTS teams in every edition of FIFA, namely the Premier League Team of the Season, the most widely used league for rosters on FUT. We will then analyze the best players from the English league that have been chosen by fans.

The TOTS Premier League was released on May 5 and contains 14 movement players and a goalkeeper as well as 3 TOTS Moments players. TOTS Moments players are cards that have the exact same enhancement as TOTS cards and celebrate the best individual performances of the season.

In this team we can observe a great prevalence of players from Arsenal, this season’s revelation team in the English league (fielding as many as 6). Next are 3 Manchester City players, 3 Manchester United players, 2 Newcastle United players, and 2 Tottenham Hotspurs players. The remaining 2 players belong one to Liverpool and one to Chelsea. As a reminder, this team is composed of the nominee players who have delivered the best performances this Premier League season, and these are the nominees who have received the most votes from EA Sports and gamers. Obviously these cards, like all TOTS cards will have a very high value on the market in terms of credits, so unless you are a FUT millionaire it will be very difficult to buy them. One will then have to hope to find them in the packages by taking advantage of the targets and SBCs. These cards, as we can see even just from their overall are among the strongest in the game, so obviously they are almost all recommended cards in competitive.

Let us now see a brief review of all these strong players:

  • Erling Haaland (97) – Let’s start right away with the strongest card on this team, which can’t help but be that of the world’s strongest first forward, Manchester City’s Norwegian giant. A player to have on any Premier League roster, whether in competitive or online matches.
  • Rúben Dias (96) – Let’s see one last very strong Citizen player get a TOTS card as a testament to a great season. The Portuguese central defender has outdone himself again this year, allowing his club not to concede too many goals and making it possible to hold on to the result in many key matches. This card has very strong values for a DC, such as those of speed, defense and physical (88, 97 and 97), as well as a good 83 in dribbling and passing.   • Casemiro (94) – Another very interesting card belongs to the very solid Brazilian central midfielder who passed from Real Madrid to Manchester United. His move to Manchester United and his performance certainly marked a watershed moment at this club, which could qualify for the next Champions League. In this special version his best stats are those of speed, defense and physique (84, 92 and 97), the other values all start from a minimum of 80. He has 3 stars of skill moves and 4 stars of weak feet and is 1.85 m tall. Although he does not have too high stats he is really strong and costs very little at the moment, only 100,000 credits. In game he is a very solid midfielder, he can do almost anything and excels mainly in defense and passing, he is also very strong physically. This player is definitely usable in both competitive and online matches.
  • Bruno Guimaraes (93) – Let us now look at another very strong card that belongs to Newcastle United’s Brazilian central midfielder. Newcastle is having a great season and is currently third in the Premier League, so much is also due to this player who has totaled 4 goals and 5 assists so far. This player has a very strong and balanced card indeed with all values starting at a minimum of 85. The highest values of this card are those of speed, dribbling and passing (91, 92 and 92), it also has good values of defense and physical (88 and 83). He has 3 stars of skill moves, 4 stars of weak feet, and is 1.75 m tall. And can do TS and ASA. In the game, he is a very solid player who is skilled in contrasts and interceptions, and he is also very technical and adept at setting up actions. Definitely a very strong card for Premier League rosters. Both versions can be used in online and competitive matches.

His best stats are those of speed, defense and physique (90, 95 and 93), they are very solid but in game they seem markedly higher than that. In game he is in fact an extremely strong player in his role, very fast and even stronger physically and defensively than he should be on paper. His physical strength, his height of 1.91 m. and his buggy contrast make him one of the best DCs in his league and is obviously highly recommended for both online and competitive matches.
  • Reece James (91) – The last card of this team is the only card of a Chelsea player and belongs to the very strong English right-back. The very talented fullback has played very little this year due to injuries and has netted 2 goals and 2 assists. This card has the role of TD and gets a very good upgrade to the. This player’s best stats are those of speed, dribbling and defense (90, 89 and 88), he also has very good passing and physical values (both 87). His stats make him very strong and complete in the offensive phase, he has 3 stars of both skill moves and weak foot and is 1.78 m tall. In game he is a buggy player, physically strong and skilled in all fundamentals. You can use it in online matches but for competitive there are better alternatives.

TOTS Premier League Non-Swappable Cards Analysis.

Once again, special non-exchangeable cards have been included for the Premier League TOTS event obtainable for a limited time. As many as 5 of them are currently released, 3 of which are obtainable with a limited-time goal, while the other two are obtainable with a dedicated Rose Creation Challenge.

Cards obtainable with the Pink Creation Challenges

In game he is the classic buggy FIFA outfielder, very fast with incredible dribbling and it is almost impossible to take the ball away from him, he also has a very accurate shot. Sensational card and highly recommended at all levels of play, its SBC however costs a bit too much.

  • Kaoru Mitoma (92) – First special card for one of Brighton’s most interesting players, namely the Japanese left winger class ’97, who had his best season this year. This player studied dribbling at university and in fact is a master in this specialty, and his skills and splendid goals are driving all soccer lovers crazy. His card is very strong and he has all stats starting at a minimum of 83 except defense. His best stats are speed, dribbling and shooting (97, 94 and 88), he also has a good 88 passing. He can be AS, ES and ASA, has 4 stars in both skill moves and weak footing and is 5’10” tall. He has offensive workrates (High/Medium) that allow him to attack the range well. In game he is a very fast and technical player, very strong and buggy in dribbling and with really accurate passing. Recommended player in both competitive and online matches, although there are better alternatives.
  • Palhinha (91) – Another very interesting card from Fulham’s Portuguese halfback. Great season for him that allowed Fulham to finish high in the standings and also topped by 5 goals. His best stats are those of defense and physique (92 and 97) while of dribbling and passing he has 84 and 83 and is 1.90 m tall. He has strong stats for the roles he can do, those of CDC and CC, in game he is a very strong player physically and in coverage and he is very buggy in contrasts and overhead. He has 3 stars of skill moves and 4 stars of weak feet and excellent defensive workrates (Medium/High). Card that can be well used in online matches and also tried in competitive.
  • Ollie Watkins (89) – Aston Villa’s young English striker gets a rather interesting special card. This season he has been one of Aston Villa’s best and has been able to put up an impressive 15 goals and 6 assists. His paper has a very good speed value (93) and good dribbling and shooting values (88 and 90). He has a very good 89 physical, has 4 stars of skill moves and as many as 5 stars of weak foot. In game he is a good striker, quite complete and also quite buggy. We feel it lacks a little more to make the leap into competitive at this point in the game, it can still be used as a super sub and in online matches.
